This describes the primary elements and variables you'll demand of your body each time you participate in a BODYSHRED® class with ZK.

A system of multi-layered techniques, integrated philosophies and dynamic movement with a progressive, sequential order to the exercises.
BODYSHRED® offers every individual a personal inspiration to achieve true fitness and...a rockin' body!
Benefits: To develop, increase and/or improve cardio/metabolic, endurance / stamina, calorie burn / potential fat loss, higher EPOC (after burn effect), muscle fiber activation to define / condition muscles, muscular endurance and power for optimal output, athletic performance, immune function, decrease stress, balance hormone levels and self-confidence and self-empowerment.
How to prepare for this class:
This class is done in sneakers. Please bring a mat, towel and water. Do not participate with a full stomach.
SILVER n' FIT:
A class designed for Seniors but open to all! Here's what you'll need: a chair, a set of 2-5 lb. hand weights (or two bottles of water will do). We'll also use our own body weight to tone and sculpt.
Your instructor will get you up on your feet moving around the chair and to use the chair for balancing exercises. Please be sure to get clearance from you physician before starting this or any exercise class.
How to prepare for this class:
Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle for drinking along with that chair and weights of some sort mentioned above.
AQUA FITNESS:
In the pool group exercise class which provides cardiovascular conditioning. Exercising in the water provides a supportive environment for every body. The buoyancy of the water reduces your weight on impact, resulting in much less strain on your joints and muscles. This makes Aqua fitness a good choice for those new to exercise, those who can't move easily and for those who are looking for a gentle way to get fit and lose weight. Aqua fitness also helps strengthen the body because the water offers resistance. Water has much more resistance than air. The resistance exerted by water applies in both directions as you push and pull against it. This means that each movement you make works two opposing muscle groups, not just one, as is the case when you work against gravity. Same effort but double the benefit.

Here's what your can expect in an Aqua fitness class with Kathy:
* a short stretching warm-up to get your body used to the water and your muscles ready for exercise.
* cardiovascular exercises to get your heart pumping, such as jogging, leg kicks, body twists, arm exercises and other dance-like movements.
*balancing exercises
*exercises with water weights and skim boards.
*coordination exercises
*stretches
*a cool-down of stretches at the end to avoid injury.
BODY SCULPTING:
We'll use dumbbell hand weights, resistance bands, stability balls and our own body weight to tone and sculpt your body in a small group setting where everyone gets the attention they want and deserve. Have you ever been to a huge class at a ‘huge gym’, where you were just another face in the crowd listening to the Instructor and with each exercise wondering, 'am I doing this right and/or is this exercise effective?' With ZK, you're not just another face in the crowd! First and foremost…our #1 concern is your safety.

This class is done in sneakers. Please bring your own mat, towel and water.
YOGA:
Hatha styl yoga for all levels. The idea of our ZK YOGA class is to explore YOUR personal limits, not to strive for pretzel-like perfection or drown in esoteric teachings. This is a Hatha Yoga class. The word Hatha: (Ha meaning Sun, and tha meaning Moon) signifies a combining of complementary forces. A pose is often followed by a counter pose to balance the body. In Hatha Yoga, poses are held for varying lengths of time, and most can be modified to some extent to make them more appropriate for various fitness levels.
How to prepare for this class:
This class is done in bare feet. Please bring a yoga mat and water.
